Mike Pence’s role in covid and staffing are also suspicious.

The hoax was perpetrated by the state and Democrats, not by the left. I am the left and I never believed the narrative. Jan 6 was classic cointelpro.

Some lefties were no doubt used by the state

At least 26 FBI operatives were used by the state. You think they were lefties? People like Rachel Maddow and Andrea Mitchell are not lefties. They are state operatives.

There were Antifa there dressed as Trumpers. Antifa is the lefty army of the state

Let us not forget that President Trump started / concluded his speech later than scheduled - perhaps by intent, perhaps by the "usual delays," perhaps by the Hand of Providence.

I say that because the first breach of the Capitol barriers (led at least in part by Ray Epps) occurred after the time President Trump was scheduled to have concluded, and so the time that his supporters would have been expected to be arriving at the grounds after walking from the Ellipse. But when that breach occurred, President Trump was still speaking, and his supporters were at the Ellipse (I know, I was there).

I've long suspected that Pence, the Fedsurrection folks (e.g., Epps) and their affiliates (Antifa, Shut Down D.C.) were operating on a coordinated schedule - one premised on Trump's announced schedule. And (for media / camera purposes) that the breach was supposed to be made to occur by a mass of Trump supporters.

Instead, there was Epps et als. and the relatively small band of operatives to remove the bike racks and fencing and signage (as we can see on the video from that, e.g., as run by Revolver News' coverage of Epps).

I suspect Trump knew something was up. I was also at the speech. It was really boring and he seemed to drone on… I left and fortunately didn’t bother to see what was happening at the Capitol because I had an appointment… or I’d be in trouble now. They tracked down everyone who do much as set foot on the grounds. Bastards

Makes one wonder what sort of leverage the deep state has over Mike Pence.

This is a valuable contribution. No doubt Pence played Judas. I wonder if Trump knew he’d be betrayed that day. I kinda think he knew something was up. It still amazes me that these narrative that Trump incited the riot got any traction, because he said nothing inflammatory at all. He’s never quoted once when accused of being responsible for the Capitol breach. It’s no coincidence that his social media was immediately shut off. What a disgraceful episode. I still hope for justice for the protesters who were set up.

we’ll have to wait and see what happens.

ya know everything to prove everyone’s behavior exists in the ether somewhere. everyone texted, called, or email someone about their bit parts in all of this. nothing ever goes away completely. not in the ether. sure would be interesting to see who said what to whom, who did whatever, etc.

I personally believe it was his ambition to become president himself. had an acquaintance who was a pence staffer. Hated Trump and had a fervent belief in the ascension of Pence to the highest office. You gotta understand Pence is a Romney Republican. He’s one of the old school big money big war republicans who hate Trump for taking over their party

Pence along with am choosing Sessions as AG were Trump worst two decisions. In January 2017 Pence showed his true colors by convincing Trump to ask for Gen Flynn resignation based upon a set up by Obama FBI to frame Flynn.

I had a weird experience watching Pence once. I don't consider myself psychic to any greater degree than anyone else. I don't watch TV anymore, but during the first Trump administration, I did. During one press conference early in Trump's administration with Pence standing to the left behind him, I actually saw what appeared to be waves or darts from his eyes to Trump. I know. Sounds very weird. I got the instant impression that he was duplicitous and devious. I had the feeling that he meant Trump ill and would undermine him.

Turned out true. When we later learned about Pence's tweet on that fateful day which revealed his true feelings, I wasn't surprised. Also, FWIW, (probably nothing!) whatever "order" or structure to which he actually belongs, he's a "high member." Just a tidbit. He was "placed" by Trump to derail him deliberately. Those were just my impressions from years ago.

One other piece of evidence is John Eastman's claim made on Steve Bannon's show, He, irate, said he and others had met with Pence and drafted a letter for Pence to send. Pence went along during the meeting, but then, without informing Eastman (directly or indirectly) wrote his own letter.

The various events support a possibility that may seem outlandish. The disruption of activities at the Capitol led to curtailing debate over the electoral challenge from Arizona and a few other states. Under the Constitution and various laws and procedures, a challenge is supposed to invoke a process to convene a joint session of Congress, with each state is allowed to speak.

There is a principled argument that those that voted to curtail that process and certify the election violated their oath to uphold the Constitution. This is the basis of the two Brunson lawsuits that argued this was treasonous. The same argument could be used by Trump or members of Congress that didn't vote to certify to file a similar suit with the Supreme Court.

Maybe they already have. Maybe the Supreme Court has already ruled, but hasn't announced their ruling.

In this scenario, Pence was part of planned effort willing to sacrifice his reputation for the long-term, doing the equivalent of the police parking a bait car to catch a burglar.

Between then and the inauguration, there were enough troops in the vicinity to surround the Capitol and make arrests. But obviously this didn't happen, so is this crazy idea out the window?

Maybe not. Maybe the plan was to make arrests, but they decided the risk of violence that might provoke a civil war was too high, and they went to Plan B, which was let the inauguration proceed, and regroup. Or, even more outlandishly, maybe the plan was to allow the Biden inauguration to proceed.
