You guys are the BEST! I pray that DJT has someone on staff whose job it is to find content like this and provide the cliff notes to him. You need to get on Bannon's War Rooom!

Great questions. There were many "honorable men" (e.g., Horowitz, Barr, etc.) that were not courageous enough to take on the Blob.

That's what it ultimately comes down to. Given the tone of his Russiagate report, there is no doubt that Horowitz was privately appalled by the actions of Comey and others, yet he lacked the courage to fully confront the issue.

You’re completely right, Horowitz needs to go. He lacks the courage of his convictions or he’s shady and comped. Regardless he needs to move on.

Clarify please, the basis for the bullet point about Strzok lies to DOJ being buried by Horowitz. I can’t remember or I never knew

There are probably more, but the one we know about for sure—because Horowitz mentions it in his report—is the February 16, 2017, FBI briefing to the DOJ where Strzok lied about various things. Those lies weren’t highlighted in the report. For instance, he claimed that Crossfire Hurricane was triggered by Trump saying, “Russia, if you’re listening,” even though he knew that was a lie. He repeated the same lie in his 2020 book, and when I pointed the lie, Strzok blamed not having his notes, even though those notes told the same lie back in 2017. There's also the fact that Danchenko had, by February 16 already disavowed the dossier, which the FBI concealed. These lies, which Horowitz failed to mention, went to the heart of why Crossfire Hurricane started.

Of course. But in referencing that lie in committee hearings, the crazed expression as he described his horror was performance art. Nobody should be able to summon up such furor over such an obvious sarcastic throw-away line that Trump tossed to his audience. Thanks for refreshing me.
