They’re certainly going to try. The Hatch Act will be an excellent vehicle for removing the rank and file aka the useful idiots who are on the frontlines of obstruction and leaking. Eliminate the foot soldiers and reduce the problems in a quantifiable way is my $.02 worth of advice. Regardless of what I felt personally, at work I was required to be completely divorced from politics and I was. I noticed very early on Obama term 1 that the new hires were all about politics and it wasn’t good. I stumbled upon a solid fraud case but my fraud referral was rejected FAST. Yes, politically sensitive and long before the bathroom server… it was odd that it even came to light considering geography but it most certainly did. I will neither confirm nor deny that I retained a copy that took months to complete
The last 15 years haven’t been good but I have high hopes that the radical left can get removed for cause even if it’s simply a RIF, very short term benefits that will inspire them to take that crap somewhere else.
